Equinox Saxophone Ensemble in concert

Equinox make a return visit to Grantham Music Club for the 90th birthday concert series.

As ever, Equinox present a varied programme in which they show the flexibility and diversity of the sounds of the saxophone. The inventor of the saxophone, Adolphe Sax, was born on this day in 1814, and his goal was to create a family of instruments which could blend and play together.  In this concert, the various members of the saxophone family are showcased, from the might bass to the tiny sopranino, and even the new 'Aerophone', a highly versatile electronic instrument.
